Re: please move to Community Audio |
When you submit an item to a Community collection, the system occasionally guesses wrong based on the first item in your upload queue. If it's a .txt, then it might end up in Community Texts.
That said, please don't upload anything to Community Audio that you do not have explicit permission to upload. And if you do have permission, why not create an LMA collection for the band?
Community Audio is really for non-live, non-lossless, non-complete or non-musical audio files that you can personally guarantee permission for. So if you've got a copyright-free studio recording, or a show only in mp3 format, or one particular song, or some sound effects, then Community Audio is perfect for that upload. It's not a catch-all for stuff that can't go on the LMA.

Re: please move to Community Audio |
Thanks for your reply. I suspected that it was because the text file uploaded first.
Regarding LMA, I have the ball in motion to get a Flabberghaster collection started; hopefully you (etree) has received permission from their manager by now. I am sitting on several recordings, but was eager to share, and thought that since some Flab shows were already on Community Audio it was ok.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to get this collection started. Thanks!
